My life has been one hell of a rollercoaster ride, with plenty of "I never esperredit" moments.
I have cried, I have been broken, I have felt fear, I have had close shaves with death, I have been depressed, I have laughed, I have healed. I have been brave, I have survived.
Every experience has shaped the woman I am today, from surviving three civil wars to becoming the Juliet Ibrahim. In the journey through life, it is important to take stock of what was, what has been and what will be. I have always done this recounting, reevaluation and reshaping of my life with my close-knit circle of family and friends. Now I want to share with you these experiences that toughened and softened me; stories you have only caught glimpses of. Every story, whether of triumph or falure, is one I celebrate because i am alive and I want you to join me in A Toast To Life.
